When Will I Be Able To Discover The Gender of My Baby?
[DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS]
If you are pregnant and want to know the gender of your baby, you have safe options from week 8 to find out the gender.
In Video Prenatal, located in Charlotte, we have two types of tests to find out the gender of your baby. SneakPeek Gender Test from week 8 and an Ultrasound from week 15.
SneakPeek Clinical is an early gender DNA detection test that is offered to women from the eighth week of pregnancy. SneakPeek uses the natural process of shared fetal DNA circulating within the mother’s bloodstream.
Its PCR technology has the ability to detect the presence or absence of the male Y chromosome in the blood sample. If detected, the baby’s gender is male. If not detected, the baby’s gender is female.
If you are looking to perform an Ultrasound to know the gender, you must have at least 15 weeks. With an Ultrasound, you can also see your baby’s face and some gestures such as yawning or smiling. This practice is less invasive for the baby.
If you want to wait to have an Ultrasound, consider drinking a lot of water several days before the appointment so that you can obtain better images. The greater the amount of liquid, the clearer the results.
Another benefit of performing an Ultrasound is that you can keep beautiful memories such as images and video.
In Video Prenatal, we will provide you with an account in the Babyflix application which allows you to save all your ultrasound video in your own account. All images taken in the session will also be saved. With this account you can view your photos and video from anywhere in the world.
